The current signage at the Winston Tower in Winston-Salem will be replaced by the name of Truliant Federal Credit Union. Truliant Federal has had its headquarters in Winston-Salem since its founding in 1952.
The credit union has received permit approval to place its signage on the building, which is 30 stories high. This is also an opportunity for the credit union to take advantage of adding a new Logo Design in honor of its 70th anniversary. The Winston Tower is in downtown Winston-Salem on North Main Street.
President and CEO of Truliant, Todd Hall, expressed his excitement about being able to put their signage on this established landmark, as the credit union has been a corporate citizen and proactive partner of the city for many years. He added that the sunburst logo on the skyline of the downtown area highlights the company’s long-time dedication and service to the city.
The Winston Tower was opened in 1966 and, at the time, was the tallest building not only in North Carolina, but the entire Southeast. Former the headquarters for Wachovia Bank, Wachovia left the building in the 1990s and it was then purchased in 2003 and reopened as Winston Tower.
Manufacturing of the new signage will take place in the upcoming months, with installation expected to follow later in 2022.
