Raleigh workshop to craft seasonal mocktails
Mocktails can be the final added touch to a “dry” festive event, and a Raleigh workshop will reach some new recipes for these blended drinks.
Tickets for the Shaken or Stirred Mocktail class remain available at the time of writing, and a special discount is on offer for those who purchase a set of two. Three alcohol-free cocktails will be on the agenda, and passes start at $35 each or $60 for a pair.
The class, which will be taught by Nathan Williams, will use seasonal ingredients to prepare the drinks. Williams will discuss the methods for making them and what equipment may be helpful for the home bartender. The group will discuss creative ideas for mocktail mixes, and everyone can ask any questions they have. Only a limited number of seats are available, and it will run for one and half hours.
A workshop focused on food and drinks often includes distributing recipes to the attendees so they can recreate them at home. Stationery printers can prepare materials for an event, and these can be bound using comb binding and other techniques.
Current Wellness will be running this introduction to the world of mocktail mixing on Saturday, January 11. It will begin at 4:00 pm, and additional information is available on the Downtown Raleigh website.
