Raleigh conference to cultivate interest in carrots

A Raleigh event will soon be celebrating a humble and well-loved root crop, and it is open to anyone who takes an interest.

The 41st Carrot Conference is set to welcome those who grow, harvest, process, ship, or sell carrots, and it may also be of interest to academics as well as breeders and others working to develop new cultivars. A registration discount is on offer for students who would like to attend, and it has a schedule that runs for three days.

This activity, which is held once every 18 to 24 months, focuses on all aspects of carrots. It will offer a variety of presentations as well as speakers and other presenters, and topics ranging from crop disease management to production and marketing, will be addressed. Some of the meals are included in the registration fee. Field tours of the research station in Clinton will be available too.

Conferences provide those who take part with a deep-dive experience into a particular subject area. Promotional Pens and other swag for a large event can be provided by Print shops.

The 2024 International Carrot Conference will open on Monday, July 8, coming to a close on Wednesday, July 10. It is scheduled for 2451 Alumni Drive in Raleigh, and its website has the most up-to-date details. Registration is $300 to $350.
