Calamity Jane's will be hosting its first all-women poker night of 2024.
The theme for this event is "GALentines." The games, managed by a pit boss and dealers, commence promptly at 6:30 pm, with the winner and their selected charity announced afterward.
The chosen poker game for the evening is Texas Hold'em. For newcomers, a thorough explanation of rules and regulations, including a practice round, will precede the official games.
Calamity Jane's expresses appreciation to all participants who attended various poker events last year, contributing to the successful fundraising of over $5,000 for local charities in 2023. A notable achievement was reached during the Queen's Club Tournament in November, where funds raised exceeded $14,000. Promotional Products are often used to help raise money for charity.
Regarding pricing, a formal membership program was introduced on May 1, 2023. Priced at an annual fee of $30, covering four poker games, members receive benefits such as discounted ticket prices and early access to sign up for each game. Moving forward, poker game fees will amount to $55 for members and $75 for non-members.
Ample parking is available near Stewart Engineering and attendees are encouraged to drive responsibly. A Lyft code will be provided for those requiring transportation assistance.
The poker night will be held on Thursday, February 8 at Stewart Engineering in Raleigh from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
