Everyone in the global and local community is invited to attend and share their love for all the features of Korean culture.
The first Koreafest was hosted in 2017. This cultural festival that concentrates on the beauty and heritage of the Korean people has the stated goal of “celebrating unity through Korean culture," and is back for its sixth year.
Those who may feel they are not familiar enough with the Korean language or culture are encouraged to attend anyway because InWave is presenting several opportunities for newbies to immerse themselves in the lifestyle for the first time. Banner printing is fairly common at such festivals.
Korean culture has grown in popularity in the US thanks the dramas and pop music associated with this part of the world, and major support for this festival since its inception has seen it grow into a two-day event. On the first day of the festival, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in Korean food, learn cultural lessons, participate in K-pop dance and taekwondo contests, and learn about the Korean dish kimchi. There will be a special appearance from Emma Broyles, who is Miss America 2022.
The festival is scheduled for November 19 and 20 at the Exposition Center in Raleigh. Ticket prices range from free to $140 depending on age, how early they are purchased, and whether the attendee would like to get VIP access.
