Information from the report shows the district supports approximately 18,500 jobs, showcasing its significant contribution to employment opportunities. The local food and drink sector was found to have generated an impressive $124.7m in sales, further bolstering the district's economic vitality. The report also indicates that the district's economic activity leads to the production of approximately $110m in indirect taxes, highlighting its positive impact on the local tax base. Nine years ago, Larry Miller made the decision to leave Cary for Glenwood South. Since then, he has become a prominent figure in the community and currently leads a collaborative with close to 1,000 members.
