Race to provide funds for September cause

Sky Zone Charlotte, located in Pineville, is supporting National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by supporting the Isabella Santos Foundation Race and Fun Run later this month.

The Isabella Santos Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises money for research and the treatment of Neuroblastoma, and other rare cancers of childhood.

This is the eighth year that the Foundation has held this race. There will be 5K and 10K options and a one-mile fun run. There will be food and refreshments and many activities for kids. Participants in the race will receive an official racing bib with microchip timing system, a shirt, and a goodie bag. Winners in specific age categories will also receive prizes.

A chance to win the VIP experience at Sky Zone will also be raffled off. This includes a 60-minute jump pass and an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the facility.

Owner of Sky Zone Charlotte, Bruce Spicker, commented that this is a great opportunity for the indoor trampoline park to support an organization that provides care for these children, and to make an impact in the research and treatments that can save children with cancer.

The race will be held September 26 beginning at 8:00 am at the Allantyne Corporate Park in Charlotte. Most likely, Sky Zone is working with the Isabella Santos Foundation and a banner printing company to create promotional Banners that can be displayed around town encouraging participation in the event.
