An upcoming activity will soon see families spring into a Pineville park for a morning of “egg-citement” for the community's younger kids.
The city has scheduled an Egg Hunt, and to help keep it organized, parents or guardians are asked to register their child in advance. It is geared towards children from the ages of one to eight, and while it is free for residents, a small fee will be charged to visitors from out of town.
Kids will be able to hunt for the hidden eggs, and there will be an assortment of games set up. Whether they find an egg or not, every child will go home with a goody bag of treats. There will be special prizes for anyone who finds a golden egg.
To add an extra dash of fun to the event, the Easter Bunny will be hopping in to meet the kids and pose for photos. Many event planners make arrangements to have costumed characters on hand for an activity, handing out Promotional Products and other small items to the crowd.
This morning of egg hunting and other festive fun will be on offer on Saturday, March 28. The hunt will kick off at 10:30 and end half an hour later, and anyone interested can scan the registration QR code on its web listing.
