Breast cancer impacts women, and much more rarely men, and a Pineville fundraiser will help to fund patient support as well as new treatments and hopefully a cure, for this group of diseases.
Wacoal’s Fit for the Cure initiative combines an expert bra fitting with taking aim at breast cancer, and it includes a complimentary bra fitting. It will be hosted as an in-person activity, and the monies raised will be used in a variety of ways.
This fundraiser has taken place for the past 25 years, and for each fitting and for each b.Temt’d or Wacoal fitting and purchased at a regular price, $5.00 will be donated to Susan G. Komen®. Women are encouraged to come out together as groups of friends or moms and daughter duos, and while appointments are encouraged, walk-ins may be accommodated. It will run throughout the day on its set date, and will begin at 10:00 am.
A fundraiser can also serve as an opportunity to raise awareness of a cause, and a brochure printing company will be happy to support its efforts.
