Autumn brings falling leaves and plenty of color, and a Pineville workshop will teach how to prepare an arrangement that showcases the floral beauty of the season.
Kay Fachman will be sharing her skills and knowledge with attendees in the Floral Arranging Workshop on offer in mid-November. The techniques taught may be used to prepare other floral decor, and the registration fee is $40 for residents and $45 for non-residents.
Participants in the hands-on class will be working with the materials provided, and the theme for the occasion will be “petals and pumpkins.” Everyone will work on their own project, and at the end of the class, they can take it home with them to display it on their own holiday table.
All materials needed will be included, and the session is for those age 18 and up. There are enough seats for 16 learners.
A class that teaches new crafting techniques can be fun for newbies and old hats alike. Stationery printers can be counted on to supply a range of options when it comes to preparing Copies of handouts and other materials to distribute on the day.
This introduction to the joys of working with fresh flowers is scheduled for Thursday, November 12 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Belle Johnston Recreation Center. More information can be found on the Pineville Rec Desk website.
