Pineville set to go to the dogs

If every dog has its day, this will certainly be the case during a Pineville event planned for this April.

Paws in the Park is right around the corner, and it will be free and family friendly. It is being brought to the community courtesy of the Charlotte Black Dogs, and those who visit might just meet the newest member of their family.

Activities will include a vendor market, and food trucks have also been invited to roll in. Entertainment has been planned, and the four-legged attendees can strut their stuff in one of the dog contests.

The friendly competitions on offer include the smallest dog, the largest dog, and the best trick. Awards will be presented for the best dressed female and male dog, and groups of dogs are also welcome to enter a category set aside especially for them.

According to the event’s listing, there will be an emphasis on black dogs, as they tend to be adopted less frequently at shelters. A printing services company can prepare Booklets of care tips and advice for anyone considering adopting a companion animal from a rescue or rehoming group.

This day dedicated to Pineville’s canine set is scheduled for April 13, running from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pineville Lake Park will be the venue for the day.
