Spring is on the way for Pineville, and it will be preparing for the return of its feathered friends with a workshop that will help to give them a warm welcome.
Those who choose to attend the “Attracting Bluebirds and Hummingbirds” session in person or online can count on learning some new techniques for drawing birds to their garden. The event is being offered thanks to Wing Haven in Charlotte.
During the activity, speaker Carol Buie-Jackson, an experienced birder, will share tips for attracting hummingbirds and bluebirds by providing them with what they need to raise a family. The group will discover how shelter, food and water sources are all important , and if they choose to utilize these practices in their own garden, with some luck, they will soon have lots of feathered friends to watch and enjoy. A recording of the event will be made available to everyone who registers so they can refer back to it if they wish.
Those who enjoy birding are often eager to learn even more about the hobby, and a flyer printing company may prove to be a valuable partner in promoting these events to the community. They are often a budget-friendly option.
This chance for Pineville birdwatchers to learn how to make their yard more attractive to hummingbirds and bluebirds alike is scheduled for March 17th. The in-person session will be on offer at 248 Ridgewood venue, while the virtual one will be held on Zoom.
