Pineville invited to craft ocean-themed bottle gardens

A terrarium offers a way to create a mini garden in a container, and Pineville area class will teach how to craft one with an under-the-sea theme.

PlantHouse Charlotte has organized an in-person terrarium building class that will walk participants through creating a planting that uses plants and other materials to create “jellyfish” swimming in the sea. All materials needed will be supplied, and tickets are $40 each.

The facilitator will teach how to use the items supplied to create their ocean-inspired garden. The group will be using air plants, which tend to be easy to care for and live a long time, making them a good choice for those who are new to home horticulture. Tips will be shared for keeping them healthy. The class is intended for those who are age 16 and up, and outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Hosting a class or other learning session offers a way for a small business to introduce itself to a group of potential new customers. Materials to help market an activity will be on offer at local printing services companies, including Brochures to explain what is happening on the day.

The crew at Planthouse Charlotte have organized this bottle garden workshop for Saturday, June 11. Anyone who would like to take part can register through its online listing.
