Golfers from the South Charlotte and Pineville areas will soon be heading to an area course for a day of fun out on the links.
Carolina Lakes Golf Club, which is located in Indian Land, has been chosen to serve as the location for a fundraiser that will support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The presenting sponsor for the day will be Advancial Federal Credit Union, and each player will be treated to an all-inclusive package of fun.
The day will open with check-,in and breakfast, and an on-course lunch, sodas, beer and water are all covered by the registration fee. The play will begin with a shotgun start, and there will be special skill-testing contests such as closest the pin and longest drive. Raffles are also in the works, and mulligan packages are also available in advance. Those who would like to put their talents to the test can purchase separate tickets for the hole-in-one competition, where the top prize is a new 2025 Subaru Forrester.
To help maximize the impact he day, the organizers have several sponsorship opportunities available for the local corporate community. These begin at the $300 Hole Sponsor level, which includes the chance to set up a table filled with Business Cards and other marketing materials.
The 3rd Annual Pineville-South Charlotte Golf Tournament in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation will tee off on Thursday, October 3. Check-in will open at 8:30 am.
