Being skilled in math can open many doors for students, but not everyone finds the subject easy. Heart Math Tutoring provides tutoring, support, and other assistance to elementary school students who need some extra help, and it is hosting a fundraiser near Pineville this February.
The organization has planned its fourth annual HeartThrob in Flight Beer Garden and Music Hall, The planners explained that, thanks to the generous support of its sponsors, all of the proceeds raised during the evening will be donated to the cause.
The occasion will have a party atmosphere, and cocktail attire will be the order of the day. Grump Fiction has been booked to provide the entertainment for the occasion, and there will be pours of complementary wine, beer, and liquor. Heart Math Tutoring volunteers will both plan and host the celebration, and tickets are being sold for $40.
