Pineville class to create new crop of sewers
Embroidery techniques can be used to prepare many types of stitchery projects, and a Pineville class will soon see a new crop of sewists take up the hobby.
A Beginner Embroidery Workshop has been scheduled for the city, and AR Workshop Pineville will be hosting the event. The materials needed will be provided to the participants, and they will be theirs to keep after the session has drawn to a close.
The instructor for the workshop will walk the registrants through the use of an embroidery hoop, and they will learn how to thread their needle and craft three of the most commonly used stitches. They are encouraged to bring along an item of their own to use, and event organizers are recommending participants use non-stretchy, lightweight materials such as linen, thin canvas, or light denim. The all-inclusive fee for the activity is $39.00.
When learning a new skill, people may appreciate the chance to do so in a group session. A flyer printing company can lend a hand with spreading the word to the local community.
