Many cornhole players take the game very seriously, but one that will be on offer for members of the Pineville Chamber of Commerce will be strictly a friendly competition.
The Chamber has partnered with the team at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery in Ballantyne to bring its 1st annual Crazy Cornhole Games to the area’s business community. The registration fee for each two-person team starts at $50.00 each, and there will be several contests on offer.
The players will try their luck in five different games, and the combined scores will be used to determine the winner. Anyone who doesn't have a partner has been asked to inform the organizers, and they will be paired with someone. While they play will begin at 6:00 pm, everyone is encouraged to arrive early so they can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat before the fun kicks off.
At the time this piece was prepared, the sponsorship system for the Crazy Cornhole tournament was still open.
