Cyclists enjoy fresh air, exercise and the feeling they get from doing a good turn for the Earth, and a Pineville workshop can help them keep their bike in top shape.
The session, which at the time of writing has not been cancelled, will give cyclists a chance to learn how to care for their bike, including maintaining its chains, derailleurs and gears. The host will have bicycle technicians on site to guide the learning, and the assembled group will have a chance to put their newly learned sills to the test during the event.
The participants will learn how to care for and maintain their bike’s chain and other equipment, and they will also be taught how to troubleshoot should a problem occur. Cleaning their chain and derailleurs will also be discussed, and those who register can bring along their own ride or practice on one of the bikes that will be available for them to work with.
A class liken this can be particularly helpful to those who enjoy cycling, and the registration fee starts at $40 for Recreational Equipment (REI) members and $60 for non-members. A printing services company can lend a hand by supplying Copies of handouts and other learning materials for this type of occasion.
