Pineville bowling fundraiser to help strike out violence

Whether they are avid bowlers or just want to enjoy some fun for a cause, residents of Pineville are invited to sign up now for an event that will take aim at domestic violence.

Hosted by the Steve Smith Family Foundation with support from Novant health, registrations are now being accepted to be a part of this fun occasion.

This annual fundraiser, which will also serve as an awareness raiser, will offer both morning and afternoon timeslots. These will be identical, and the public can choose from either a ticket that covers admission for one pair, or an option that will allow them to book a whole lane.

Each person who purchases a ticket for the event will receive two games of bowling, as well as shoe rental. T-Shirts that feature a fun graphic design will be given to the registered participants for as long as supplies last, and there will also be discounted pricing for food and drinks. A raffle has been planned, and each registrant will receive a ticket for the draw.

The morning session is set to begin at 10:00 am, while the afternoon’s activities will kick off at 1:00 pm. The function will be held at 10 Park Lanes in Charlotte, and tickets for the fundraiser are expected to go fast.

This opportunity for the public to play a hand in striking out domestic violence has been scheduled for February 15. This will be the seventh year the function has been on offer.
