Pineville’s comic and pop culture fans are welcome to join those who will be making tracks for the Charlotte Convention Center to be part of this year’s Heroes Convention. The organizers have put out a call for volunteers, and there are many different positions that will need to be filled.
Heroes Aren't Hard to Find is a local comic book shop, and it is in the planning stages for this year’s expo and convention. It will be focused on comics, and will showcase the work of both established and upcoming artists, writers, and other creators.
The volunteer positions available range from lending a hand at the registration desk to managing lines and selling T-Shirts that have been printed with the occasion's Logo Design. The night owls in the crowd may be interested in signing up to help out with the after hours activities including the art auction which will be held on the Saturday night.
An occasion like this can be a great way to bring those who share a common interest together. Offering those who volunteer to help a T-shirt, hat, badge or other corporate gift can be a great way of saying “thank you”, and these can be readily sourced from an area Print shop.
