An event that attracts dog lovers is being hosted in Pineville this spring, and its organizers have issued a call to the local community for sponsors and other support.
The Paws in the Park celebration will be making its 10th year, organized by Pineville Parks and Recreation and the Charlotte Black Dogs. The list of rescue and companion animal-related not-for-profit groups, as well as small business and other vendors that will be on site is already extensive, but there may still be room left for more to join in.
The activity will take place in Pineville Lake Park, and it is billed as being one of the largest events centered on dogs to take place in the Charlotte area. Many rescues and shelters will be setting up shop and fundraising by selling Promotional Products and other items, and there will also be a photo booth, contests, a playground for the kids, and an opportunity to meet some local canine first responders.
A community fair or other public event gives not-for-profit groups an opportunity to connect with the public. A brochure printing company can make sure they have the informational materials they need to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Paws in the Park will be helping to open the spring festival season on Saturday, April 13. Anyone who would like to submit a vendor or sponsor applications asked to contact Charlotteblackdogs@gmail.com.
