Veterans and their families will be the guests of honor at a Pineville area gathering that will celebrate and support their efforts.
Charlotte’s Symphony Park will play host to this year's Global Soldier Festival, and the weekend will offer an assortment of activities. These range from a fundraising gala to an outdoor concert, and there will be opportunities to learn offered throughout all three days.
The celebration will begin with a black tie gala, and this special event will boast a selection of guest speakers, a catered dinner, and entertainment. On Saturday, the plans include an outdoor music showcase with food trucks, exhibitors, and vendors. The festivities will wrap up on Sunday with a day of mini workshops and exhibits, and all of these events are free for vets and those under age six. Youth tickets are $1, and there are other ticketing options as well, depending on the activity chosen.
For reasons such as PTSD, starting a new career, or just adjusting to life on “civvy street’, veterans may need some extra support to make the transition. An event like this can provide them with that sort of assistance, and a brochure printing company will be able to supply the participating organizations and business with the materials they need for the occasion.
The Global Soldier Festival will mark its 8th year starting on July 31, and continuing to August 1. Tickets for the celebration are available for purchase now.
