LB LYFE Clothing wants to make the holidays happier for local families in need, and has reached out to the Fayetteville public asking for support for its campaign.
The organization hopes to raise enough to purchase turkeys as well as side dishes, and it has set a goal of feeding at least 100 families.
The planners of this event know that this time of the year tends to be busy, so have tried to make it easy for the public to take part. Anyone who would like to get involved has been asked to contact the organizers to let them know whether they would like to make a monetary contribution, and those who would like to participate as vendors, sponsors, or volunteers have also been asked to do get in touch.
By helping to care for their neighbors in need, an event like this can help to build a strong and supportive community. Sending out promotional Postcards to each household can let them know how, when, and where they can help, and these can be prepared by area Print shops.
Anyone who would like to be part of this effort to feed families has been asked to contact the organizers through its Eventbrite listing. Donations can also be dropped off at 2203 Southern Avenue on Sunday, November 22.
