The Camellia Show and Plant Sale, which is hosted every year by the Fayetteville Camellia Club, is coming soon to Fayetteville.
The show will feature hundreds of camellia blooms from breeders and growers from all over the Southeastern part of the United States.
Blooms can be entered on the first day of the show from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. with judging beginning at 10:00 a.m. All judges are certified by the American Camellia Society. Over 30 prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories, including a category for local and novice growers.
At the show, attendees become acquainted with the variety and beauty of camellias. Members of the club will also be on hand to answer questions about and recommend camellias that grow well in in the Southeast. Newcomers typically feel welcome at the show given the friendliness, enthusiasm and willingness to find answers for all questions.
The Fayetteville Camellia Club is a group whose purpose is to grow the appreciation of camellias and to support and encourage the science and art of camellia culture. It is most likely turning to flyer printing companies to create Flyers promoting the Show and garner enthusiasm for it in the community.
