Small Business Saturday workshops planned for Fayetteville

Fayetteville’s community of small businesses plays an important role in the economic life of the city, and the FTCC Small Business Center will be offering its members a tip of the hat by hosting a full day of learning that can help them find success.

The event, which will be split into three different modules, will be focused on building a small enterprise, right from the ground on up. Business plans, marketing and other topics are all on the slate for discussion, and during the lunch break, the attendees will be welcome to network and build connections.

The day will be opening at 8:30 am, and it will kick off with an exploration of the process of getting a new business up and off the ground. Tips for obtaining financing, legal concerns, zoning licensing, and operations will also be reviewed, and many other topics will be addressed as well.

During the second module, the students will be guided through the steps to follow when crafting a business plan, which can be an important part of ensuring a company will be successful. After lunch, the learning will continue with a session dedicated to small business marketing, including Logo Design, branding, and how to determine which blend of promotional techniques will work the best for an individual enterprise.

This opportunity for anyone in Fayetteville who is considering starting their own company to hit the ground running will be on offer on March 2, and 2817 Fort Bragg Road will be the venue for the day.
