After spending four years working in her home, monogramming items, making custom pillow covers and Bags, Linda Sanderson and her daughter Melissa Little finally opened her own shop is Eastover, just a short distance from Fayetteville, last weekend.
Sanderson held a grand opening celebration for It’z All About You Gifts & Monogramming last Saturday, May 2. It is located in the space that was once occupied by Eastover Garden Center. Adjoining the store is SipLee Art, a decorative painting business.
The inside of the store is decorated with bold graphics, bright colors, and humorous sayings on various items for sale, such as pillows, wrought iron benches, purses, and T-Shirts. The walls are black and white and the floor is covered with throw rugs in zebra Print.
According to Sanderson, the store has a wide selection of items for all age groups, various interests, events, and price levels. There are things for wedding showers, baby showers, seniors and teenagers, and for types of special occasions. She can also monogram any of the items that are for sale.
This store is Sanderson’s first retail endeavor, but it is something she has always wanted to pursue. She and her husband, Johnnie Sanderson, own and run Sanco Construction, which is also in Fayetteville.
