Hiring expo on the way for Fort Bragg
A Fayetteville expo will bring together employers with former and current service members and can help aid them in making the transition to Civvy Street.
Hiring a former military member can offer a lot of benefits for a business. They tend to be hard working, can think on their feet, and often possess high levels of leadership qualities.
The event, which is being offered courtesy of Soldier for Life and USO of North Carolina, has been planned for April, and spaces are still available for any companies interested in participating. Each potential employer will be given their own dedicated table space to set up a display as well as two tickets for lunch, two passes for the networking mixer and also their table. Many spaces will have power access, and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The organizers remarked that the companies that participate must be actively hiring, and they are welcome to distribute any promotional products they wish. They can also include pop-up banners and other items to attract attention. The registration fee for businesses is $300, and these will be contributed to the USO of North Carolina.
This event will be organized in the Iron Mike Fort Bragg Conference & Catering Center, which is located on Fort Bragg. It will be open to delegates on April 23 and 24.
