Fayetteville’s General Lee Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland for a holiday event, and a call has been put out for vendors and volunteers.
The site will be the location of a vendor fair, and Santa has decided to make a stop to visit with the kids. The planners explained that it will be a small celebration, and it is intended for those who live in the vicinity of the park.
The families in attendance will be able to do some holiday shopping in the vendor area, and with the Cookies-N-Moore food truck parked at the venue, everyone can enjoy some freshly baked treats. The function is being held thanks to the efforts of the General Lee Park Neighborhood Alliance.
To help make this event a success, the organizers are accepting applicants from crafters and other small businesses, as well as anyone else, who would like to reserve a space in the market. Those who do so will need to supply their own table, and this is being offered free of charge. At the time of writing, the organizers are also looking for a volunteer Santa.
Hosting local celebrations can help to build a community by bringing neighbors together in a spirit of fun. Any decor needed for the occasion will be on offer at a printing services company.
