A special Fayetteville activity will show some love to partners of those in the military, and give them a chance to spoil themselves.
Being a military spouse comes with its own unique challenges that others may not always understand. This initiative, which is brought to the community thanks to Support Military Families, will give spouses who have been through deployments, postings, field duty, training and other stressors a chance to relax and unwind. Each military spouse will receive a gift to thank them for being the support behind the uniform, and children who are five and under can attend the function as well.
As well as the gift for each of the military wives, husbands and partners, they will also be treated to food and entertainment. There is no registration fee, and while they take some time for themselves, the attendees can also build a strong network of other military spouses, which can be a valuable resource for the future.
