Fashion shop H&M recently announced that it will be opening a new store in Fayetteville at the Cross Creek Mall.

The store will be 22,000 square feet in size, although its exact location in the mall is yet to be determined, says Tammy Hopkins Hyde, a spokeswoman for the mall.

It is the latest in a stream of stores to have entered the market in Fayetteville over the past couple of years, including White House Black Market, Ann Taylor Loft, and The Fresh Market.

Hyde added that Cross Creek Mall is pleased that H&M will be locating within its property and joining the mix of retailers, expressing pride that H&M most likely had several locations from which to choose, but found this mall to be the premier shopping destination in the area.

H&M started in Sweden in 1947 and over 3,500 stores in 55 countries. Having opened its first U.S. store just 15 years ago, it now has 360 stores in the country, eight of which are in North Carolina. Most likely, the store will turn to various printing services to create Flyers and mailers to inform those in the area of its products and its distinction in the marketplace.
