Fayetteville to discover fun of container gardening

Container gardening can be a good choice for those with limited space, or people with disabilities or mobility issues that make traditional gardening methods challenging, and it will be the main focus of an event in Fayetteville next week.

Participants in the session will learn how to prepare a pretty container garden that incorporates both flowers and foliage. The event will be hands-on, and it is suitable for those with no to little experience in working with plants.

During the class, the group will be taught the “spiller, thriller, and chiller” technique to create their planting. They will also learn how to choose plants that have similar care needs and perform well together. Each attendee will craft their own container bed, which they will be able to take home with them after the session has drawn to a close.

Home horticulture classes may be especially popular during the spring and summer months, and they may also be held in the fall to teach the public how to put their plants to bed. A flyer printing company will be pleased to help promote an activity to the public, and it will have options for almost any price point.

This introduction to the art of creating a long-lasting container garden will run from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm on next Thursday, June 15, taking place at Cape Fear Botanical Garden.
