The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival is coming to town in a few days and its sponsor, WRAL, is most likely turning to a variety of printing services to let those in the area become aware of this annual event and enjoy everything planned.
The event has been a tradition in the downtown for 32 years. Free to attend, it offers music, activities, and epicurean delights that will satisfy all age groups. The Century Link Performance area on Hay Street is filled with back-to-back local performances and attractions such as local dance troops, the Shadows of the Fire Belly Dancers, and martial art performances. The headlining musical concerts will be The Marshall Tucker Band on Friday night and John Michael Montgomery on Saturday night.
For the children, there will be a carnival, games, bounce houses, and rides on the Midway. Saturday afternoon will see the Battle of the Badges between the police and fire departments.
The Street Fair and shopping is one of the highlights of the Festival, with wind chimes, jewelry, T-Shirts, and many one-of-a kind items available for purchase. There will be around 100 booths dedicated to arts and crafts, commercial ventures, and information, and a special booth will be set up for the purchase of Dogwood Festival merchandise.
The festival will be taking place from April 25th through April 27th.Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
