Fayetteville plans annual school career fair
Fayetteville students who are looking to the future are invited to attend organized by Cumberland County Schools next month.
The District Wide Pathways Fair will be on offer at the Charlie Rose Agri-Expo Center, and there will be a variety of interactive activities on its agenda. It will run from the morning through to mid-afternoon, and a variety of ages will be taking part.
The function will encourage attendees to explore various industries and learn how to find a career in a variety of sectors. They can speak to insiders and learn what skills employers are looking for, and the organizers are hoping that they will walk away feeling energized and excited about their future.
To help make the function a success, the planners are reaching out to the area’s business community. Companies that would like to participate can reserve a table or booth space where they can set up shop and meet with potential future employees. They will be able to distribute promotional pens and other gifts they wish, and they will have the chance to enter the venue the day before for set-up.
