Anglers in the Fayetteville area who want to take their fishing skills to another level may want to attend an upcoming class.
Bass jigs are a type of lure that can be very effective, and the NCWRC Fishing Education Team’s Bass Jig Basics class will introduce those who take part to their use. It will be held at the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center, and it is limited to those aged 12 and up.
The class will give attendees a deep dive into the use of bass jigs, and they will learn about the different styles and how they are used. It will be a hands-on session, and there will be attention paid to casting techniques as well. Polarized sunglasses are recommended, and close-toed shoes are required. There is enough space in the session for up to 12 learners.
Fishing is a hobby many enjoy, and they may appreciate an opportunity to learn how to improve their skills. Handouts for a workshop like this can be crafted by a local printing services company.
The NCWRC Fishing Education will be facilitating the Bass Jig Basics class on Thursday, September 21st, from 6 pm until 9 pm. Those under age 15 will need to be accompanied by an adult. The registration system is currently open via the AllEvents website.
