Fayetteville families to enjoy Halloween garden party

Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville offers family fun throughout the year, and this fall, it will be getting all decked out in preparation for a Halloween celebration.

The Garden will be shifting into high gear for fall fun with Halloween at the Boo-tanical Garden, and both the young and the young at heart are welcome to wear their favorite costume for the occasion. Everyone should bring along their flashlight so they can fully enjoy the experience, and tickets for the activity may be purchased in advance.

The guests at the celebration will be treated to the spectacle of hundreds of carved pumpkins and other luminaries, and the annual Boo-Crew skeletons will once again be staging the Boo-tanical Circus. This will feature hoop artists, human stilt walkers and jugglers, and refreshments will be available for anyone who would like to whet their whistle.

The organizers of the festivities have acknowledged the generosity of Webb Carpet Company, Fayetteville Academy, and Cavine and Cates for their support. There may still be additional sponsorship opportunities available, and interested companies that would like to take advantage of this chance to have their Logo Design exposed to a wide audience are encouraged to contact the planners at mwoolbright@capefearbg.org.

These spooky evenings at the garden will be held on October 28, 29, and 30, and they will each begin at 5:30 pm. All ages can participate.
