Fayetteville fair to back local scholars

Fayetteville is home to a thriving community of entrepreneurs, and an upcoming event will provide them with an opportunity to introduce themselves to shoppers in their own hometown.

An event that will help send local kids back to school in style has been planned for John D Fuller Sr RAC, and it will be filled with an assortment of small businesses. Authors, makers, food trucks, and their entrepreneurs will all be taking part, and spaces are available for booking starting at $50 each.

Along with the assorted vendors, the function will provide space for community service organizations that would like to connect with those who may benefit from what they have on offer. A free backpack giveaway is in the works for the occasion, and this will make sure every child who stops by will have one when they return to her classes. The function will run for five hours, and the function is being hosted in partnership with F.E.L.P. (Future Endeavors Life Program).

Community resource and small vendor fairs give local residents an opportunity to discover what makes their hometown a great place to live. Business card printing services for any companies that plan on taking part can be sourced from area printers.

The Gotcha Back School Kickoff celebration will be held on August 6 at 6627 Old Buce Road. It will be open from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
