Fayetteville celebration to salute military families

Military families are the often-invisible strength behind the uniform, and a Fayetteville event will pay tribute to the children of those who serve.

Being a military family is not always an easy road for kids, so the party planned for Smith Lake Recreation will offer them a chance to enjoy themselves. Dubbed the Annual Children’s Gala, this activity will be marking its second year, and it will be dedicated to these heroes at home.

The function is intended for families with kids from the age of 4 to 12, and they will be escorted by their parents or guardians, as well as the siblings. Live entertainment, food, games, and other fun are all on the agenda, and it will be a formal affair, with everyone asked to wear their best clothing. Everyone will walk the red carpet when they arrive, and a color guard, photo booth, dinner, and costumed characters are just some of what is in store for the guests.

Many special events see the distribution of souvenir programs. These may include the name and Logo Design of the sponsors who chose to lend their support to an occasion.

The second annual Hero’s Homecoming has been planned for the evening of Saturday, November 12. The fun will kick off at 5:30 pm, and tickets are available now via the Facebook page.
