Fayetteville botanical garden to host wreath crafting class

Fayetteville’s Cape Fear serves as a reservoir for biodiversity, but it is also a community hub and popular location for visitors, and it has planned a special seasonal activity for the local area.

In early December, the venue will be offering a wreath making class. The facilitator will be Izzy Hall, who is a local crafter and shop owner. It will be live and in person, and at the end of the activity, everyone will go home with a wreath they crafted by hand

Participants will be working with their choice of a grapevine wreath or other materials, and they can customize their project with decorative elements. While they work, attendees can sip on a glass of wine or other beverage they purchased at the Garden Gift Shop. Naturally sourced pine cones and greenery, faux berries, twine, ribbon, and other items will be supplied for the projects, and everyone can socialize and chat with the other attendees while they work.

Both members and non-members are invited to register for this class, but it is for adults only. Stationery printers can help to take care of the practical side of hosting a workshop by providing Letterheads, waivers, and various other business Forms.

Cape Fear Botanical Garden has scheduled this hands-on crafting class for Thursday, December 8. It will begin at 6:00 pm.
