Three new non-stop flights from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport to Orlando, Fort Myers, and Tampa, Florida have been announced by Avelo Airlines.
The price of the flights will be $49 for one-way tickets. Avelo said that it is the only airline that is offering such service between the three locations in Florida and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport.
Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft will be used as the aircraft for these flights and will expand the service of Avelo in the Charlotte region. This service was launched at the airport two years ago in May.
Scott DeAngelo, Chief Marketing Officer, expressed his thrill about this new non-stop service to Tampa, Orlando, and Fort Meyers, which are the destinations that are most in demand for those travelling in the Charlotte area. He added that these new routes will facilitate travel for those on vacation, business travelers, and will strengthen the commitment of the airline to the region.
Service to Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Meyers will begin on Thursday November 19 with flights twice a week on Saturdays and Thursdays. Service to Orlando International Airport will begin on Wednesday November 18 with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Service to Tampa Bay International Airport will begin on Friday November 20 with flights on Fridays and Mondays.
