Wine festival to come to Cary

Food Lion will soon be presenting the North Carolina Wine Festival in Cary at the Koka Booth Amphitheater.

The goal of the North Carolina Wine Festival is to educate people in the state on about wine – both local varieties and the drink in general – and to foster an appreciation. The festival has been running every year for the last 20 years and is one of the largest in the state. It promotes the positive aspects of grape agriculture in North Carolina and the many types of wines produced in the state. Such festivals offer the opportunity for flyer printing to provide more details about the plans.

The festival will feature over 30 winemakers from North Carolina showcasing over 100 different sweet and dry wines. There will also be more than 40 artisans and vendors from both the state and across the country selling their products, ranging from clothing and soaps to jewelry. There will also be food trucks and vendors from the area.

The Jason Adamo Band and The Shakedown will be providing live entertainment all day, ending with the Chairmen of the Board during the evening. There will be commemorative wine glasses and opportunities to purchase discounted bottles and cases.

The festival will take place this Saturday, October 16. The cost for general admission is $45 and VIP admission is $75.
