New womens co-working space opens in Cary
Blush Cowork, offering an innovative approach to working from home, has opened in Cary.
The new premises provides co-working spaces focusing on women, and has offices for people who need a place to work, conference rooms, and spaces filled with tables. Onsite childcare is also provided – an option made possible through a partnership with PlatinumSitters.
Alison Rogers, founder of the co-working space, said this is the only such space in the area that offer childcare on site. She explained that she thought of this as she faced such challenges herself when working from home.
Rogers added that although anyone is welcome to use the space, the focus on women provides opportunities for networking and joining in the community through collaboration and events.
The fee for a monthly membership is $250, while a day pass is $45. The option for childcare is $10 and hour and is for children between the ages of six months and 12 years old. More information about such membership prices and other packages and options can be made available with brochure printing.
Among the planned events are a Happy Hour featuring Stephanie Keefer of PlatinumSitters at 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 24 and flower arranging with Jaclyn Gough from The Skinny Vase on Wednesday, April 27 at 5:30 and 7:30 pm.
