New tinting shop opens in Cary
A new location of Turbo Tint is now open in Cary on Ten-Ten Road. This is the first location of the chain in North Carolina, and the sixth in the country.
Turbo Tint offers architectural and automotive tinting solutions. Other services of Turbo Tint include paint protection and ceramic coating. The Cary location spans about 4,000 square feet and is in a building that has been fully refurbished. It features one paint protection bay, two bays for automotive tinting, and a lounge for customers.
The store in Cary is owned by Chris Laverdure, who grew up and lived in the Pacific Northwest before moving to Cary about a year ago. Laverdure has worked for several technology companies, including ADP and Amazon, but decided to leave the corporate world to pursue his passion in the automotive industry. He discovered that this chain enhances the experience of the customer while at the same time being profitable.

A manager for the store has been hired, as well as a tint installer. Laverdure plans to hire two more people for his shop.
The hours for the store will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Friday, and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday.
