What's Happening in Cary, NC…

Cary to make the most of the Fourth of July

Independence Day is so big in Cary that it cannot be contained in one day. This year’s two-day extravaganza will feature a number of events, all of which are free and open to the public.

The festivities start at the Sertoma Amphitheatre the night before at 6:30 pm. The touring troupe of Applause! Cary Youth Theatre will start thing off at 6:30 pm, followed at 7:30 pm by the Cary Town Band. The next day, on the Fourth of July itself, the festivities get off to an early start at 7:30 am in Bond Park.

Activities include a parade, fishing tournament, and canine talent show. In keeping with the origin of the holiday, a Revolutionary War Encampment will allow attendees to observe musket and cannon demonstrations, learn how to write using a quill pen, or just enjoy the sounds of fife and drum music.

At 3:00 pm, Cary's Booth Amphitheatre will host the North Carolina Symphony and the Cary Town Bank until it is time for the finale of the evening - the fireworks. Additionally, at 3:00 pm the Capital Model Boat Club will be sailing its boats on Symphony Lake. Lawn space will be available for picnic lunches and viewing of the fireworks.

Savvy entrepreneurs never let gatherings like this go to waste, often contact their local printing company and stocking up on promotional items to garner more customers and bolster their sales.
