Cary to beef up burger outlet presence

On June 1, Burger 21 officially announced that its second North Carolina franchise will open in Cary later in the month.

The Bradford Shopping Center will be home to Cary’s first branch of the restaurant. The new establishment is locally owned and operated by Mitch Neal, who has 20 years of franchise experience. In the last 10 years, he has launched eight restaurants in the Raleigh market.

The fast, casual franchise, which bills itself as “beyond the better burger” opens its doors today, June 8. During its first two days of operation, the restaurant will set aside 10% of its sales. At its ribbon cutting ceremony on June 16, to which the community is invited, the restaurant will present those funds in the form of a check to a representative of the Cary Family YMCA.

The Cary Burger 21 will have 55 to 60 new hires, seat 122 inside, and have room for 34 customers on its patio. The 3,101 sq. ft. establishment will offer 21 unique beef and non-beef burgers, hand-breaded chicken tenders, gourmet hot dogs, and handmade shakes. With the help of a flyer printing service, local workers can be encourage to check out the new restaurant.

Burger 21 is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. In addition to its locations there, its 16 franchises are found in Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Virginia, New York and New Jersey. In addition, 20 more locations are being developed.
