Heather Amitrone, PA-C, has been appointed as a Physician Assistant at the Cary Skin Center office in Cary.
Announcements of such new personnel to an office are often made known throughout a region with flyer printing.
Amitrone attended Lock Haven University from which she received a bachelor's degree in health science and a master of Master of Health Science Physician Assistant Studies. She has 12 years of experience in dermatology and experience with Mohs micrographic surgery practices. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the National Committee of Certifications of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology of Physician Assistants.
Robert E. Clark, MD, PhD, and founder of Cary Skin Center, expressed his pride in Amitrone joining the practice. He said that her expertise and experience will be valuable for all patients.
The Cary Skin Center was established by Dr. Clark in 1998 and is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center that specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, which is used to remove skin cancer. There are two offices—one is Cary and the other in Pinehurst.
Dr. Adam Ingraffea joined the practice in Cary in 2018 while Dr. Robert E. Clark, Ph.D., joined the Pinehurst office last year. The two centers serve patients in the Triangle and surrounding areas. The center has been accredited by the Surgical Review Corporation.
