Independence Day will be celebrated at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary.
There is no charge for admission, although reserved seats can be purchased in advance. Picnicking will be allowed on the lawn within the gates of the venue, with the venue itself able to hold 7,000 people. This event is one of the many other activities to take place in the region. EnoFest will be taking place at the Eno City Park in Durham, featuring over 40 artists performing on three stages both Saturday and Sunday of the holiday weekend. Among the performers will be PaperHand Puppet Intervention, the African American Dance Ensemble, and The HamilTones.
There will also be vendors and food trucks; more than 60 artisans from the southeast participating in a juried craft show; a beer garden with wine, craft beer, cider, and seltzers; and dance and art demonstrations.
Tickets are $40 for a two-day pass and $25 per day, with proceeds going towards land protection in the Eno basin. Such events and their fundraising efforts are often promoted with Posters and Flyers created by local Print shops.
