A lively spring break, STEM Camp: Dance is Life, will be offered next month by CKDC in St. Louis. The event will use STEM subjects in the form of dance and exercise.
There will be a series of three camps offered. The first one is Dance for Life for ages 10 to 14. Camp two will feature Physic(al) Movement appropriate for ages 5 to 8. The final camp will be Moving through Anatomy for ages 8 to 12.
Camps may be attended in person or via video conferencing for most age groups. The periodic table will be explored as students learn through kinesthetic exercises, along with aural and written experiences. Both working individually as well as in groups, camps will be formed as each student learns about how the human body is affected by chemistry.
Posters are an effective tool in presenting information to younger audiences. When handling the poster printing, local Print shops can include vibrant colors and bold text to attract interest.
Pricing for the in-person camp is $200, while the virtual camp, which will take place via Zoom, is $150.
The camps will begin March 15 and run through March 19, and will be held at CKDC located at 465 North Taylor Avenue. For more information, visit the event website or call the event organizers at 314-546-1477.
