Bestselling fantasy author Danielle L. Jensen will appear in St. Louis this November for a public program celebrating the release of Defy the Dusk.
Defy the Dusk is the opening title in her new Sundering Duet. The Novel Neighbor is organizing the event with support from Butler’s Pantry and The Women’s Creative.
The novel introduces readers to a fractured world where darkness brings deadly creatures and survival hinges on reaching safety before nightfall. The story follows Lirien, a powerful woman whose magic helped reshape civilization, as she becomes entangled with a rival leader while questioning the system she once supported.
Jensen is also known for A Fate Inked in Blood, A Curse Carved in Bone and several established fantasy series, including Bridge Kingdom, Dark Shores and Malediction. Her work has been published in 23 languages in multiple countries.
Admission for one guest with one signed hardcover copy of Defy the Dusk costs $42.99, including a $2.99 fee. A two-person ticket with one shared hardcover is $48.24, including a $3.24 fee. Additional novels will be available for purchase at the venue. Refund requests are accepted until seven days before the program.
