St. Louis organization to hold garden conference

The North American Japanese Garden Association (NAJGA) will organize an event at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis.
The International Japanese Garden Conference is a yearly event where attendees can learn from presentations led by professional gardeners. The lectures will teach guests about visitor engagement and management strategies, dry landscape maintenance, and volunteer training strategies. This year’s lineup of speakers will include Steve Bloom, Hiroaki Eto, and Maryann Lewis. There will be many special events at the garden conference, like the Japanese Garden Leadership & Legacy Awards Ceremony and the St. Louis Garden Tours.

The NAJGA is an organization that promotes the creation and maintenance of Japanese gardens throughout North America. The group offers workshops and leadership programs that provide hands-on learning experiences for aspiring gardeners. People can also access public and private support networks through the organization for advice on long-term garden maintenance and visitor engagement. The NAJGA also partners with public gardens and universities to promote Japanese gardens.

The conference will be from October 15th to October 18th. Tickets to the gardening convention will cost $649 per person, though NAJGA members will receive a discount on their ticket price. Those who want to join the garden tours must pay an additional $149. Gardening organizations that hold similar conventions to this may use flyer printing services to increase the visibility of their events.
