St. Louis organization to hold multi-month winter festival
The Gateway Arch Park Foundation will organize a family-friendly winter experience in St. Louis that begins in November.
Winterfest is an annual program where guests can enjoy a festival display at the Gateway Arch that features 100,000 twinkling lights. There will be many winter-themed activities offered at the venue, including ice skating and making s’mores. People can rent private igloos for warm seating and signature beverages. There will also be a seasonal 5K race and single-mile fun run held at Kiener Plaza as part of Winterfest.
The Gateway Arch Park Foundation is an organization created in 2009 to fund the park’s preservation efforts. The group also organizes events at the park, including group yoga sessions and a celebration for National Public Lands Day. The foundation created a volunteer program in 2021 to let people help with tasks like landscaping and administration work. The volunteer program accepts participants from many kinds of groups, including corporate organizations and school clubs.
The Winterfest celebration will be held from November 22 to January 4 in Kiener Plaza. Those interested in the 5K and fun run can participate in the event on Saturday, November 22. Guests must pay a fee to rent skates for the ice skating rink, reserve private igloos, and take part in the race. Cities that hold seasonal activities like this may utilize printing services to make advertisements for their events.
